After picking up his parents from Edinburgh's airport (there would not have been enough room in the car for me to fit after James, Anne, Brad, and their suitcases were in), we all met up at Hotel Missoni to check in for the weekend.
Anne and Brad chose this hotel for us while we visited Edinburgh over Easter. The hotel has a fabulous location on the Royal Mile and is quite modern and indulgent.

Missoni is an Italian designer who is famous for the colorful knitwear designs her fashion house creates.

With a few hours left in the day, we wandered a bit around Edinburgh before stopping in at a local pub for some Scottish fare.

Edinburgh was a lovely backdrop for our reunion after not seeing each other for seven months. It is always a blessing to see our sweet family!
